“Kajian daripada Department of Health and the Centre for Tobacco Control, mendapati bahawa shisha lebih berbahaya berbanding rokok. Pada tingkat yang sangat parah, shisha 400 hingga 450 kali lebih bahaya daripada rokok biasa!”


RISIKO PENYAKIT

Perbuatan menghisap asap boleh mendatangkan risiko penyakit berkaitan sistem pernafasan seperti bronkitis yang kronik, emphysema (bronchiaectasis) dan kanser paru-paru.

Menurut Dr Maamor, keadaan itu berlaku kerana peningkatan kandungan bahan berisiko seperti nikotin dan tar dalam saluran pernafasan.

"Dalam masa yang sama ia merendahkan aktiviti sel-sel khas yang akan menurunkan daya tahan badan serta mendedahkan seseorang itu kepada risiko mendapat jangkitan kuman sekunder."

"Andaian yang menyatakan bahawa apabila kita menyedut asap yang melalui air boleh mengurangkan risiko di atas adalah sesuatu yang indah khabar dari rupa. Risikonya tetap ada sebab masih ada asap yang disedut. Seperti juga rokok yang ada filter, risikonya masih ada" jelas beliau.

Beliau turut mengingatkan tentang risiko tinggi yang terpaksa ditanggung penghisap pasif.

"Kanak-kanak yang membesar dan ibu-ibu yang mengandung yang mungkin berada di premis tersebut turut menanggung risiko. Malah mereka yang tidak berada di premis yang sama juga boleh terdedah kepada bahaya kerana asap yang dikeluarkan tidak musnah dan ia mencemar alam sekitar," tambah Dr Maamor.

Beliau turut memberitahu terdapat kajian bahaya menghisap shisha ke atas sistem saraf dan juga tahap kesuburan seseorang.

"Risiko kesihatan juga meningkat apabila peralatan ini dikongsi kerana ia boleh menyebabkan merebaknya penyakit bawaan udara." 

"Selain risiko kesihatan sudah tentulah ada risiko-risiko sosial, ekonomi, budaya dan pengaruh politik yang boleh menyebabkan masyarakat menjadi keliru dan celaru. Maksud saya ada orang yang berkata ia halal, ada kata haram atau makruh," jelasnya.

what the bear happen to me.since before i had to through some rough times that came to me time by times and make me feel sick~werk! Kohooo! Since that, i have to go through some Syes problem that probaly made me look kinda clown and make me feel bad about myself deh!kohoo~
